A Rite of Passage - The Puffer Jacket

As winter is kicking into high gear, I find myself reaching for my puffer jacket more and more.

I used to think of puffer jackets as the devil when it came to being fashionable in the winter time. However I have seen the light, or rather, I have felt the warmth.

With high winds, snow blowing sideways and temperatures below zero (okay, at least it feels that way for me) - my puffer jacket is my safety blanket (literally and figuratively). That baby keeps me warm and toasty! I'll be the first to admit, it doesn't have a flashy belt that cinches in the waist or even makes people do a double take on how super awesome it looks - but it gets the job done + some.

Here are my top picks for puffer jackets that will keep you warm and lookin' good.

Helmut Lang Short Puffer Coat

Kenzo Quilted Double Breasted Puffer Coat

  1. I agree with you completely. A Puffer Jacket will really keep you warm, but it takes a bit of shopping to find one that looks stylish as well. However, I found the perfect mix at Burlington Coat Factory and I saved about $35 on it. It was definitely an easy decision.
